Daisy Chaining DC units

I want to expand my number of outlets I'm using on my ACJr. I run a DC8, but I also have a spare DC4HD I want to link on to the existing system. In the Neptune Systems paperwork it says you should have some special part (IM513). Is this just the "telephone wire"?

Do I just link the output from the DC8 into the input of the DC4, then the output of the DC4 back to the ACJr head unit?

Thanks

No need to return back to the head unit. It would go AC Jr.-->DC8-->DC4

Makes sense, just wanted to be sure this IM513 wasn't some proprietary BS part. Just looking at it, you'd think the phone cord does the deal. But frying the head unit DC4 & 8 would definitely ruin my day!

I think its 4 wire phone cord if I remember right, some phone cords are only 2 wire. Check the ends of the supplied one from Neptune and make sure yours phone cable matches.

I'm not familiar with the Neptune wiring. For the reefkeeper standard 6 conductor and rj ends are are standard, the wiring is not. Not wiring right can damage the units.

I have a crimper if you need it.
