Likely need a few fittings/tube sizes from the hardware store..
Maybe vinyl tube on the output of the pump to a reducing barb fitting or whatever gets the job done.. Off to the hardware store you go..

If I had a nickel for every time I've been standing in the plumbing aisle with a handful of pieces/parts trying to cobble something together I'd be able to pay somebody to type this for me.
ROAD TRIP!!!

Not sure on the size of the output on the maxijet, but BRS has a ton of big sizes to 1/4" RO/DI john guest fittings.
I actually found one that fits on the output of a tunze ATO pump.

I have used different sized vinyl tubing and zip ties. Seems to work quite well.
