Help: Ricordea Florida Growing But Bleaching

not sure but is it just me or is there a beam of light shining in the 2 bleaching rics? maybe it's just the pic.

you can trade me those 2 polyps, I'll try and figure it out the problem for you. :-)
but honestly, I couldnt tell you. could just be where they are on the rock. mine grow pretty well and they are almost under an overhang from a larger rock above it. I dont believe rics need a lot of direct light to grow well. |

I have mine sitting 8 inches from the top of the water and 12 inches directly below a 60 watt LED light and they seem to love that spot/light/flow.

Lots of equipment left over from the 140 gallon tank teardown. Oct 21st was a sad day. Wife said I would have to get a new wife to get a new tank. I'm sure gonna miss the wife. Current Tank Info: No tank, no fish, no coral :( |

lol, well the weekend is coming up - I believe its only a 13 hour flight :-)
You can always pry those 2 off the rock and move them a little further back where the light is not so intense. I use sewing thread to hold them down until they get a good hold on the rock, doesnt take more than a few hours. |
