Looking good man. So long as the current SPS thrive, you can add a few more SPS soon.

Things are looking better than last year.
I love that rbta!! Super nice..
Did you ever experiment with amino acid supplements when you had your stn issues?

Beta testing the new WAV pumps from Neptune Systems. They are in my FT right now but will probably move to the DT this weekend. Crazy Flow...

My gfo has been offline for a week. I have redsea kits as backups for my hannas. I have had undetectable po4 since day 1...
Just curious why you even run GFO in the first place if your phosphates have always been undetectable.

Hi MHG,

How is this tank doing? I'm experiencing a similar meltdown, slow but steady death and the tank seems to suddenly be unable to support corals. It looks like you run GFO to keep PO4 very low, I'm thinking of doing the same because if I don't they rise relentlessly.

I also think it may be a bacterial imbalance due to me having to rescape to remove some invasive polyps.

Anything you can add that might help would be much appreciated.

Well The only thing that seems to keep my tank going is weekly water changes to include vacuuming the sand, and vacuuming the sump. I was busy and stopped water changes and after only about 4 weeks, STN started back up. So regular weekly water changes and I have great growth. Don't know what the problem is.

Lost my RBTA this week while I was away. Have no idea why. All parameters are spot on. Clowns lay eggs like clockwork. SPS growth is off the charts... After 2 tears of never moving he started walking around to different spots every day. Would shrink down every few days. Something was stressing him...

Man, sorry to hear it. Thanks for answering my question above, I've dosed some bacteria and bought colorful gulf live rock which has seemed to slow bad things down but only time will tell.

I'm glad your tanks recovered well and the crash is in the past. I was following your tank on YT for a year or two and was sad to see the crash. Tank looks great and coral growth is awesome. Nice work.

Couple of photos.

Some random brown frag I picked up a couple of years ago is a green tipped acro under low light. Move it to the top and its this crazy Powder Blue Medusa looking thing.

The RR Vihn in low light is doing great as well...

so diy leds lost another segment. time to change fixtures. purchase two Kessil a360WE's. my colonies are too big they cause a lot of shadows. so I now have 3 (two 360's and a 160). hope my acclimation goes well...

Good to know that the tank recovered well after the issues in the past. Would love to see photos of the corals with the Kessils.
