Zoa Rescue Help please
Hi,
I got 4 Zoa colonies from a guy who has quit the hobby. They were in pretty bad condition but after about a month some polyps have come back but there are the dead skeletons(?) from the majority of the colonies. I was wondering it I can or should frag off the live ones and remount them on rubble. Mostly want to keep them alive and thriving, but 3 or 4 polyps on a blob of dark unattractive mass doesn't look good. Thanks |

I'd leave it. Why stress them more? That dark blob will melt away, zoas don't have a skeleton to leave behind.

leave it alone. Don't stress the coral any further as it will cause more damage.
