stupid, generic question. I haven't started a tank yet but am planning to in the next month or so. When I purchase coral from the store, how do I get it off of the ceramic plug or tiny piece of rock and onto the rock in my tank? or do you just have to leave it on the plug and add that somehow to your aquascape?

I want to share a new member of the family, the Leopard Wrasse.
I don't want to jinxed, but she is doing really good! At first she hide often, now she is getting comfortable in the tank and expend more time swimming with the rest of the crew.

The tank is coming along good. My hole plan was to make a sps tank, but I get side track with some nice soft corals and now is all mixed.
I'll post the before and after pics of few of the corals...

Did that white balance trick that guy wrote about ever work? I've got a canon 70 d with 3 lenses and uv filters....and still learning how to use it, its crazy. I don't know how to take pics of tank. My tank is not running yet, but I want to take good pics like yours one day. I've got a 50mm lens prime. an 18-135, and a long range telephoto.

Thanks!
I started with 1 polyp, and now I have over 10. It's a really nice zoa. Also, I bought this amazing zoa. It's yellow center with a pink rim. They told me is called pink elephant. I tried to look for pics, but couldn't find one like that. I'm trying to take a good pic but it's been hard. I'll not give up lol...
