WOW...back to my point about my evil freaking Snow Onyx Clowns....
My mom was giving me a hand in trying to catch my "Blue Dot Jawfish" (which is dang near impossible I tell ya) and my mom had her hands in the tank and the clown bit my mom in the webbing between her fingers and made her bleed! -_-

Yes, they do have teeth. They are flattened teeth mounted to the gill supporting bones.

My male is the one doing the biting. The female actually tries to protect me by scaring off the male. He never did it before they hosted the RBTA. Anyone find anyway to stop this?

Try fire clowns. They draw blood, worse than Maroons.
Nothing compared to a ****ed off powder blue tang though. I've had my finger surgically cut off several times from my PBT...

Keep in mind they are territorial creatures.
They are not like a domesticated animal that knows who is feeding it. The bigger thing, sometimes, is to keep our hands put of the tank. Imagine what is on our hands when we put them in there, up to our elbows. Soap, solvents, bacteria, lotion, grease, or who knows what else. For their health, use gloves or long grabbers.

I have two blue damsels, a orange occy female clownfish and her mate a Darwin. The only fish that does not viciously attack my hand, a turkey baster, anything I put in the tank is the female blue damsel. A couple of times I was working on the other side of the tank and the male Darwin and male damsel swam side by side and came over to the other side of the tank from their caves to try to bite me. The female clownfish and the male damsel are the worst! It is very hard to do maintenance in a tank where you or your tools are under vicious attack. I tried to flick them away and they only get more PO. They all been in this tank for years and the clownfish is around 13 year old. Monsters!

My black snowflake pair have been biting me for a month since they decided a goniopora was a good host. Now she is biting the Goni and bothering a derassa com. Something may have to go. I don’t nevessarily mind the bites, you can feel them, but every once in a while one has a pretty sharp pain to it and I have to check that I didn’t get nailed by my rabbitfish. I’m sure if the rabbit did get me though, there would be no mistaking the sting. It just pops into your mind when your not expecting it and they hit a tender spot. Three tanks now and something that can hurt me in each tank. I may have an addiction.
