I'm eager to hear about the WAV. Just getting 2 of the pumps? Or are you going to use 4?

Hmm... I may have to reconsider getting a pair for my 300. May be enough flow.

Indeed. And they come with the OneLink... they seem very user friendly.

I'm looking to add a third. I figure you can't have too much intermittent flow in a reef aquarium and the one link has 3 outlets. The actual controller has 3 or 4 as well I believe

I could be wrong but I feel like you'll need more like 6 in that tank... running on some type of cycles of course. I was planning to use the equivalent of 4 in my 300... but not running full power of course.

Yes, my bad. In that case, I still think I'll need more than 2 WAV in my 300. :0)

McPuff for a tank your size youll definitely need more. Im looking forward to seeing the Gyre in action. Hear nothing but good things. Vashawn thanks. Were about two weeks away from filling her up. I got about 150 lbs of dry rock today. Ordered the Miracle mud as well. When the time gets closer Ill be ordering some nice high end rock to seed the dry rock. I was thinking of leaving some open space as I have been considering a small ray similar to Saxby aquarium but I need to find more info first. Could just be a pipe dream as I know they require a lot of special care. Any ways keep you posted.

Yeah, for sure. I plan for 4 of them (or the equivalent). I am thinking of a gyre to replace 1 or 2 of the pumps though. I won't have many SPS... probably 2 colonies. Other than that, just LPS and I will likely add some softies. So I won't need crazy flow in this one... thankfully.

Sweet. I can't see why the hydro light won't grow macro really well. That's what I use and other people I know use as well.

I'm waiting for my e-marco 400 to arrive so I can build my rock scape as well.
