How Much Watt To Grow Cheato?
Okay guys here is the set up.
Solana 34g tank I would like to use one of the rear chambers for cheato. I've seen a few submergible lights for sale online. most of them are around 3-10 watts Is this enough to grow cheato? how much is needed really? can someone give me more info on this please? thanks, f. |

The smallest bulb I have seen used on a smaller refugium is around an 18 W. Power Compact that you buy from Home Depot. It will go into a regular light socket, but is not submersible. It has a wavelength of 6500 K. Perhaps you can bet away with a smaller bulb, but the wavelength should run in the area of around 6500 K.
