WOW!! Looks like your battling a nasty Valonia algae problem. Is that your display tank?

I would if it were in my tank IMHO. I wouldn't say it's easy either. It a process to get rid of that stuff. My DT is finally back to being GBA free. It took several months of aggressive water changes, lots of GFO, feeding less and less often, reduced lighting schedules and a lot of gentle picking of the rocks. Will agree with you though, that it is a nice Kenya tree.

the gentleman who swung by for the Kenyan ended up picking up some zoas instead so I still have the Kenyan available
and I still have those Valonia----haha yet its on its way out. Had a flair up when I lost a fish but its under control. Ethanol and GFO cheers |
