Made an update video now that I've cleared my sandbed out finally.
I also wanted to document the tank before I started fragging up all my pieces. I figure this is a good time to move around colonies as well and fill in the giant holes left by removing the screaming green birdsnest and purple stylo mega-colonies. Wish me luck! |

Seriously awesome video, the tank is looking fantastic, and the acros all look super healthy, even the one getting munched on.

Fantastic video and even more fantastic tank! All the colors are complimenting one another from the corals to the fishes!

Thanks, I got a little bored with collecting corals for awhile and turned towards collecting fish for a bit. I'm really happy with the stock I have so far. Just wait until I add the final 8 fish. |

Wow, your tank is looking phenomenal!
Great video. Everything is looking healthy and growing. Very funny goby at the beginning of the vid. He looks like he's either trying to scare you off by doing that rhythmic head bob or trying to act like a piece of seaweed.

So, lots of small updates that I hadn't gotten a chance to post about.
Got my 3 purple queen anthias from Gig'em, the QT extraordinaire. They are all eating and have been added to the tank. I also had a wonderful gift from a client that bought me a flame wrasse as a thank you gift. When I went to pick it up, I saw this gorgeous blue star leopard wrasse and picked that up as well. The exquisite wrasse decided to try to mate with all the purple queens and was banished. He did look amazing when flashing all the brilliant colors though. The Achilles tang experiment may be over soon. No matter what size UV sterilizer, having as many fish as I do is not going to work with keeping an Achilles as the ich gets worst every day. I caught him out and will treat him for ich for the next person who wants to try to run ich free. The powder blue may be shortly behind but he's handling it better than the Achilles so I'll keep him for now. Oh, and these guys came out of nowhere as well. |

That's a bummer about the achilies. They are one of my favorite fish. Hopefully I'll be able to keep one some day

Thanks Cody! That box you see is actually the bottom plumbing for my 110-watt UV sterilizer. I pulled my black background off as it was chipping in places and was going to replace it with a blue gradient backdrop but haven't gotten around to it yet.
So you're seeing some guts of the system. |
