Mine are getting Lighter since I put it really close to the light. I need 2 more stag to fill up the space then I hope it's a waiting game. For now I am concentrate finding more colorful rhinopias for my cube predator reef tank.

I want too Lawrence, but I'm so hesitant, 1-without a chiller(72-79)throughout the year.
2- worried he'd nip at my corals(zoas, scolys, brains etc)

435 in wall DT up and running again

Really tempted of breaking down the big tank again.

It's been extremely busy lately now that I am back to work and my kids have tournament every weekend, practice everyday ( basketball, piano, swimming ) Not including boyscout, girlscout, gate, orchestra, CCD it's non stop everyday from 6 am to 10pm

I haven't clean my tank in almost 3 months.

Thinking of just running the 50 gallon cube as a reef for a while.

Tough decision Lawrence, your tank is so nice too! But you gotta do what you think is best for you.

Stick with it Lawrence...you'll regret it if you shut it down. Just get it to a point where you don't have too mess with it too much. Reduce bioload, shut down unnecessary equipment qt tanks, minimize lighting , etc.

It sounds to me as if you already made up your mind. The last thing you should do is turn a rewarding hobby into a burden. Take a break and come back when you have more free time and are refreshed.

Must have been hard to type that...
I don't know dude, what are you going to do with the huge tank? It would look weird with a huge tank in the room empty. You have all the equipment, why not fish only? Once a week clean it and all maybe every other week. You could have someone do it for you.

Reduce bioload but keep the tank! I would suggest to try that first, if maintenance is an issue.

Light fish load and auto feeders - with fowlr you won't have to do water changes as much

The flame wrasse is really nice Rik, very yellow.

I think you should remove the more aggressive fish. Orange strip for sure. Poma angel, can't remember which angel.

Have you thought about adding a couple bristle tooth tangs? They would help clean.

If I had the money, the hogfish would be my pick.
