http://energyreef.com/index.html

sadly, it is now converted to a large south american biotype lagoon with freshwater stingrays and such. Display is also a vivarium and full of reptiles and amphibans.

Not the largest in the country. But one of the largest in minnesota.

When did it get converted? That was one of my favorite reefs.

i live in the US but the largest privately ownded Reef/FOWLR is nahhams in UAE. 19k+ and thats the DT... sadly where i live we dont have BIG tanks, the biggest one that i know of thats private is a 350g shark tank. the biggest on in alaska i think is one in a fish store at 550g DT. its probably close to 700-800g with everything attached ('frag' tank, sump, seahorse tank, plumbing, skimmer).

I think I can take the north of Seattle and west of the mountians title here... but thats about it. Couldn't compete w/ the Microsoft guys...

My DT is larger than the public aquarium in Bellingham.

Not sure if it is safe to mention here but there is a 17,000 gallon one in the US that is apparently now wet. Some Google Fu will get anyone interested to the current thread, which has activity as of yesterday by the tank owner Bill.
