Skimmer suggestion

Hi Slief,

Currently running a Deltec sc1350 on a 70 gallon acro only tank with around 20-25 gallon sump .
Have 12 fishes - 8 loris and randalls anthias and 4 wrasses who are fed like 2-3 times a day .
Feel like I need an upgrade to a better skimmer as I have stopped running GFO and using skimmer as my only method of filteration.
Always craved for a BK . But sad news is my sump compartment for skimmer is kind of limited in width to 9.5 inches . Length wise I have over 15 inches.

Are teh only options I have are Bubble King 180 and 160 extra slim versions ? Which one do you suggest ? Will the normal Gen 2 mini 180 fit to your knowledge as I can have that from a friend .

Please advice ...

Regards,
Abhishek

My suggestion would be the Mini 160. I run that skimmer on my 90 gallon and it's perfect. It's a great skimmer that is well built and truly set it and forget it. The standard Mini 160 would fit your space just fine too.

That's gonna make it difficult .could you tell me the dimension of the base plate that you have to avoid confusions

Abhishek

They may have the specs for the old model.
All dimensions including drawings are in this document. The footprint is 230mm (9.05") x 240mm 99.44"). That includes the nozzle which protrudes beyond the body and the effluent line which also extends beyond the body.
