Powerstrips.
So I'm entering a tank build off contest with my local club. I have only one grand to spent on the tank over the next year. I'm trying to figure out a cheap way to control my lights. Most powerstrips I'm finding have half a row that are always on and another row with timer, but that row all turns on at the set time. Does anyone have suggestions for a power strip that you can set each plug to different times? Thanks for your help.

TP-Link HS300 WiFi Smart Power... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G95FFN3?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
Here is a 6 socket WiFi power strip that You can have timers for each socket and you can use voice and a phone app to control each outlet.

Have to be careful which WiFi strip you get ... In my experience many of them need to be manually turned on after a power failure. Not sure about the one suggested in this thread. All the ones with USB outlets had thus problem
I have 6 tanks using 6 Wifi outlets and 2 Wifi powerstrips ... They work great in my setup. The powerstrips that I use that are OK after a power failure were branded LINGANZH and I purvhased thru Amazon. Check out the strips you get to assure they restart after a poer failure. Found the link for the ones I use.....
https://www.amazon.com/LINGANZH-Comp...words=LINGANZH I use one of them to control the three lightstrips - two white/blue strips and a blue only strip - on one of the tanks. I run the blue one from 7AM to Midnight, one of the others from 8 AM to 7 PM and the other from 9AM to 8PM. It gives a nice cycle of light I think. I use the other to turn on a extra powerhead during the middle of the day for added movement. In a way a cheap controller. Sent from my LG-V522 using Tapatalk |
