Frogspawn retracting

I have a small frogspawn coral that, until recently, appeared to be doing well for the month-and-a-half that I've had it. It has three heads and all have been looking equally healthy - until now. It is positioned somewhat close to the glass, but not touching, and I can use a mag-cleaner without touching the tentacles. Usually the flow disturbance that comes with cleaning the glass causes the frogspawn to retract a bit, and maybe even send out a sweeper, but it usually recovers within a few hours or less. After my last cleaning, two of three heads have retracted so much, I can hardly tell they are still there and it's been like that going on two days now. Water test on that day: T - 79.8 F, SG 1.025, NO3 - 5-10, PO4 - 0.025, dKH 8.5, Ca 430, Mg - ~1300 - all tested just before a 10% water change with warmed 1.025 water and RedSea salt- the same thing I do every week in our 32 gallon biocube. No other animals appear stressed (fish, corals, crabs, snails, shrimp). The only thing that was off that day was that I had been noticing a slow, steady increase in the tank temp (it is usually 79.3 on my thermometer), so I was adjusting temp a bit and it may have dropped as much as a half a degree Fahrenheit in a couple of hours. Not sure if that would have been enough stress to cause this reaction? Is there anything I can do but hope it comes back?

Maybe move it to a different location where it will not be affected by the glass cleaning at all . If this is possible , once you find a good spot it should come out pretty quickly. You do not have any clownfish trying to host them do you ? That sometimes causes issues too . Hope this helps !

Is it near any other euphilylia? or any other corals that have sweepers. Because it could have been badly stung by something.

repies

Thank you for the replies - I may consider moving it but right now it is definitely not in range of any other corals that could sting it and there are no animals that are regularly harassing it. Finding a new home where it wouldn't be in range of any sweepers would be tricky but may be worth the effort. Thanks again!
