Are you sure that's a pump? All I saw in the photo was a guy holding some kind of over-sized particle beam death ray cannon.

Your current tank is impressive so I'm looking forward to seeing this one. Will you be moving any of your current stock to this tank? Are you planning on using water from the sea for water changes?

I am using a 15,000 l tank to store sea water for my current tank . I am at a planning stage of trying to use this tank to service both my current tank and the future aquarium.
I might be tempted to move fish that are too big for my current tank to the new aquarium.

When an aquarium starts with welding rebar ... that's in a class unknown to me. Thanks for taking the time to document this. It's amazing.

The driver sure is working hard!

Will there be an epoxy coat over the concrete after it cures? Or is it reasonably reef safe given the special marine formulation?

Yes there will be another layer of epoxy coat before casting with fiberglass resin .
