Looks great, just picked up Pax B C30... Hope to install it soon on my 500g tank... Some say it can replace skimmer!

My skimmer pulls out a lot of yucky stuff even with the ARID growing chaeto like mad. I think it ultimately depends on your bioload.

I enjoyed watching. It gave me hope that someday my tank might fill out like yours. Thanks for posting.

very nice!

How do you keep your walls so clean of coralline. Do you scrap a lot or do you have a certain tool that helps a lot to keep it so clean.

I use an algae cutter bag from mighty magnets and an old aluminum kitchen spatula. The spatula is not sharp enough to scratch the acrylic but it does a number on tough coralline.

Always enjoy your updates!

What levels do you keep nutrients at? Do you dose anything?

I dose iodine and Seachem Trace. Nitrates range from just detectable to 2.5. Haven't tested phosphates in a while.
