Drilling Tank
I have an 80 gallon tank from petco. Is it safe to drill two 1" holes on the top corners of the back glass?

only if the glass isn't tempered. the DIY forum has lots of posts on this subject. go slow when drilling - letting the bit do all the work and keep it cool by spraying it with water as you drill.

Yes! I would call the manufacturer and check to see if the glass is tempered or not. If not, DRILL ON! If it IS tempered, no drilling can be done.
