I'm a recent addition to the area, and not set up yet. I need to find a smaller tank for the second floor. I'm not quite comfortable with my 120g up there. How are the local stores? Oklahoma had several good places in one area, so I'm probably a little spoiled.

Alaska coral just moved to a new shop a lot bigger then regal with a lot more equipment and more stuff in stock but it's half freshwater and have salt. The people there are pretty friendly and helpful a bit pricey but always have some nice stuff Regal just open a few months ago ... They Have great looking coral frags of all types but a smaller store mostly would have to do orders for what u want The live stock look healthier imo oh big plus is that their a lot cheaper in price |

I'm new to Alaska as well. Moved to Palmer in September. I have my aquarium set up ready to go I just need to add LR, sand and inhabitants. I had an 180 gallon reef back home for several years, until the divorce that is LOL. Hopefully more Alaskan's will get into the hobby or the ones who are involved the hobby will get on the forum.
