Will Interceptor Kill Vermetid Snails?
I have an infestation of vermetid snails. I have a 50g mixed reef with a few easier sps that are doing fine, with no sign of redbugs. However, I need to get rid of these snails..
So those of you who have used interceptor, did it kill these guys too? What other effects has it had on your LPS/Softies?

It would have to be a very heavy dose of Interceptor and it might kill them. If you want to be sure, do a HEAVY dose of both Flatworm Exit and Interceptor. Make sure you do no less than 25% water change the next day along with some fresh carbon.

Well, if it needs to be that extensive to kill them, I may not try it..
As for glue, too many, and cant see them easily from up top.

Only way I have found is scraping them off one at a time... I had a bunch there for a while... I took all the rock out and used a hammer and chisel to get the majority... I have a few pop up from time to time and use a screwdriver to knock them off... My Christmas wrasse follows me around and cleans up for me...

Thats what I normally do, but it is almost time for drastic action. The club meeting is in a few weeks at my place and I need to clean house!
I am thinking about a CBB to take care of the young ones, and maybe a wrasse to help out...I know the CBB will not be an end all, but the last one I had (over a year ago) did do a very good job helping out with them.

I'm wondering if Magnesium would have an effect on them. Not sure how related they are to snails, but I have found some snails die off with Mag above 1600ppm for extended periods of time.
