Is this an Acan?
Not sure what coral this is. I’m told it’s an Acan but it doesn’t look like the other Acans I have. The flesh is more transparent and the skeletal structure looks different. It was almost completely dead and has almost made a full recovery. Looks like maybe it’s still getting some color back still.

Looks like an "acan lord" (now classified as Micromussa lordhowensis) to me. In one picture it looks very unhealthy, and in the other like it wants to live.

This first picture is how it looked when I got it. It was dying in the bottom of a tank at my LFS. I took a chance on it for 20$ to try and save it. It’s completely grown all the heads back and look to be coloring back up. It just looked weird to me because the heads look almost transparent. But we’ll see what it turns into in the future.
