Conch Q

I picked up a conch to help with a cyano outbreak and I'm not sure what to expect from it. It went in 36 hours ago. Promptly buried itself where it fell. In the morning I assumed it was dead. Flipped it over and within 10 buried again. It's a med sized conch 2-3" sold as just a plain old conch. No "fighting" or anything.
Should I expect it to move at all? Will it help with the sand bed?

Huh, interesting. It probably didn't care for me digging it up then. Guess it'll move when it's hungry?

Yup!

Only time I would concerned is if other inverts are acting funny.

I went like a month and a half with out seeing mine once. They stir up the sand ever so slowly.
