Addition of new clown

So today I introduced an extreme disbarred clown fish to my 10 gallon. I had a black Oc. Clown in here already for about a month. I mean I expected some bickering but damn.. the existing clown was defending it's territory by its hosted mushrooms and the new clown swam over and smacked at the other and the existing clown tore off one of the new clowns lower fins. GOSH! Not sure what to do? Just watch them super closely and if needed make a peace maker?

Excessive fin tearing is where I draw the line, I would probably pull the new guy, or at the very least float it in a breeder box or container so the existing may get used to it and maybe accept it, that is if the new guy is small/young enough to still be male.

It can be harder mixing different types, and that size tank the existing is going to be more territorial.

10 gallon too small for 2 clowns different type, IMHO, fighting will end with one of them dead

I put the new guy in a peace maker and I guess we will see what happens.. I'll give it a few days and if not I'll take him back and get another black one I guess
