Talking Jebao to Neptune Apex Communication Cable Group Buy

For those who have the following Jebao products that would love the idea of connecting and controlling them through your Neptune Apex.

I have an opportunity for you!

(full version only Apex, Apex Lite not applicable)

I have the ability to distribute a total of 8 variable communication cables.

Each individual cable will connect to two separate Jabeo products.

An Apex has two separate Variable ports. (V1-V2 & V3-V4)

Technically YES, you can connect up to 4 separate Jebao products with two of these special communication cables.

Jebao products applicable in which can connect:
  • WP Power Heads
  • RW Power Heads
  • DC Pumps

Each special cable is only priced at $30.

This is for local pick-up only, respectfully.

Cables are made with 3' black ethernet cord.

Dual walled adhesive heat shrink to be sure that the harness is water tight.

Peace of mind quality made cable which will probably last multiple Jebao powerhead/pump replacements.

I only have 8 reservations available on this group buy.

Send me a PM so I can send you my PayPal info if interested.

As soon as I receive 8 orders, I am putting in the request to have the entire package shipped to me.

I will notify you on this thread once they are available for pick up.

No limit to as to how many cables one person can buy - the goal is 8 total units on my end so that I may submit the order to the manufacture.

Once I attain 8 units paid for, I am closing the group buy.

Thank you for your interest.

SPS Frags in the form of a tip appreciated!

For the record, I am not a business. I just found an opportunity to attain cool technology and share it amongst the local community at a more affordable price.

I would assume once a mainstream business brings this connectivity cable to market, they would probably market it at a price of $75 plus each!

Sample Apex Outlet/Profile Set Up Below for a power head:

VSP
Fallback ON
Set Wave1
If Time 21:00 to 10:00 Then WaveSleep2
If FeedA 000 Then OFF

I would be interested in using this on my aqua surf.

Does the apex use a 10v channel for the pump control and this cable alters the output to be compatible with the Jabeo pumps?

I don't have any sps frags, but am interested in a cable.

Yes, an Apex uses 0-10v on the VSP, this cable splits the voltage to 0-5v that is used by the Jebao Products.

It will work with an Apex Jr and Lite. You will just need to purchase the VDM module.

Only three units left till I start requesting Paypal payments and placing the order.

If you love the hobby enough to invest into a Neptune Apex, you know one day you will want this data cable(s)!

You can't go wrong at $30 a unit! Just too cool to get it all synced with your Jebao pumps.

By the way, if you have your Jebao pump set up a certain way - who is to say when the power goes off and resets/puts your controller out of wack.

Having it connected to an ultimate controller like an apex you can make it perform different flows throughout the day if you want, or put into night mode guaranteed, or turn off when feeding.

Maybe start the day in wave making (nutrient) mode to stir up all the night detritus accumulation and push into your overflows for your filter socks/skimmer to grab.

I have the Neptune auto feeder, I plan to turn off the pumps automatically a minute before and after during the auto feeding.

I have learned that feeding pellets, they have a tendency to float. To prevent them going into the overflow, if there is no water movement, the fish have time to grab them all or break the water surface to get them to sink.

Good news .. ..

I spoke with the manufacture and they are willing to work with me on the 7 already claimed.

I will be sending out PM's to those that have claimed a unit.

When I receive payment from everyone I will put in the order.

I will be posting current paid status per person on this thread.

So if someone wants to claim the 8th unit by the time everyone pays, that will be acceptable.

Thanks again to all supporting to make this group buy possible.

Good find Bobby.

I looked for one of these for quite a while before just having to build one. It is great to be able to control these pumps through the Apex.

I have two wp40's in external waveboxes that I built onto my 300 - this cable lets me sync them and very easily get a nice controlled wave that moves the entire tank.

You guys will be happy you got in on this.
