is that what i think ppl call a hammer? im asking because im planning on getting a toadstool and i want to know what can sit right next to it without getting stung from each other. can a sps sit that close to a toadstool? i thought sps cant sit close to softies because they will get stung. what is that other hammer or frogspawn on the bottom left of the tank? |

i know I'm not the only one that gets bugged when I'm reading a sweet thread and then the Tang police come around and ruin it. I agree you shouldnt have tangs in such small tanks especially that many like in Bradley's tanks. but they look good and that tank is amazing. and so are fish i think that they can adapt to where they live. and to the reef central tang police - do you guys really think that somebody who has tangs in a small tank is going to read this and take them out? It could maybe influence somebody to not put a tang in a smaller tank but come on tang police chill out. i dont wanna mess up this cool thread just wanna put my 2cents in

just kenya tree. Mine grew a bit differently in this tank than others...i decided to play with it to see how well it would adapt...pretty well it turns out. Normally it grows taller and likes a bit softer flow...but i had this one with pretty heavy flow (direct flow)...it didnt get very tall, but was really short and bushy with a very thick base lol.

This is my temparary 40 breeder about 2 months old after downsizing from a 150 long. I plan on building either a plywood or acrylic tank this coming year to acomidate the growth. So far it has abound 28 types of corals and 9 fish. Don't mind the finger prints on the glass. Reef tanks work wonders for a screaming 9 month old.

I have been building a SPS tank but this thread reminds me that what I really want is a mixed reef. Is it ok to want it all?

26 Gallon DAS. My old tank just busted, so it looks pretty fresh. Give it some time and the coraline will build up, along with the softies
