Unhappy HELP Powder Blue w/swim bladder

I have a PB Tang that I'm sure has some sort of swim bladder problem. Twice now he's had an episode where he swims very erratically, swimming on his side near the surface of the water, swimming upside down, swimming in circles, etc. Just seems like he can't stay buoyant. These episodes last 24-36 hours and then he's back to normal for a few days. I put him in a little trap when he starts doing this and the good news is he will eat peas. Is there anything else I can do for him? Does anyone know of any other medications/treatments for swim bladder???

I've only had him a month, so he's still in QT. QT is 29g. He's in with a Chromis and a Maroon Clown. He's the biggest thing in the tank and if anything, he'll shoo away the Chromis from time to time if it eats his Nori.

pH 8.2
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0
Phosphate 0

Get him out of OT. Sounds like he is over it and wants a bigger tank

Hmm, what if I'm wrong, and there's a parasite or bacteria causing this?

Something just tells me that it's NOT a good idea to put a sick fish in my DT.

Have you treated for flukes yet? Or cupramine?

Yeah, when I first got him I noticed he was twitching a lot, so I treated w/PraziPro for flukes. He stopped twitching a few days later.

Right now he's doing better. He's staying mostly near the bottom of the tank, but he is swimming around normally at least. And picking at algae and eating when I feed him. But he did this for a few days before his last episode too.

How long did you treat with prazi? I've seen fish have buoyancy problems but the cause turned out to be gill flukes. I would retreat for flukes.
