My First Tank and Peacock Mantis
Not sure how to best introduce myself here, so I thought I'd just post a couple of pictures of my tank! https://imgur.com/a/6BXaG
I built my own tank out of 12mm acrylic. I thought I needed to do this at the time. I now know 6mm glass is fine. I 3D printed a tube to be used as a burrow and built my rock work around it. After a 1 month cycle and 2 months of continued observation, I am finally getting my first mantis. It will arrive this Thursday and I am so excited. |

It came out for the first time this morning. I stared in awe for a good 30 minutes. Still hasn't eaten anything yet though...
