Can I add one more show fish?

I am wondering if I can add one more show fish to my tank. I am looking for suggestions and if this will work thanks. My current stock consists of
Foxface
3 chromis
Pair of clowns
Pair of cardinals
Snowflake Moray
And I plan to add a yellow tang in the future.

Thanks

IMHO, a Leopard Wrasse (or pair) would be a great addition

I think you'll be fine adding another show fish. For a 100gallon tank with decent filtration you shouldn't have any issue with nutrients, and you'll have enough room in your tank as well.

Really what I am looking for is a nice colorful fish that swims a lot and can be seen. If you have any suggestions that would work with my tank it is much appreciated. I am already considering mandarin pair or leopard wrasse pair.

Unless you have a refugium, I wouldn't even consider a mandarin, and a pair in a 100 gallon tank isn't a good idea. They don't get large, or aggressive, but they need large mature tanks because they feed on tiny pods, so your pod populations must be great, and able to reproduce fast enough to support the mandarin, which feeds non-stop and only on live food. A refugium gives the pods a place to grow and breed, or if you had a 200+ gallon tank there would probably be enough room in the tank itself for them to sustain a mandarin. Beautiful fish though. That's the reason I don't have one...yet.

The kole tang with a yellow is risky I think. They may be find together, or may be aggressive. I have a yellow with a bristle tooth tank in my tank, and they are fine together. I consider myself lucky though.

FWIW be careful with that Snowflake Morey eel. Not only are they great escape artists, but once it gets big the Chromis, the Clownfish and the Cardinals could all be on the dinner menu.

I don't think a pair of mandarin will work the pod population probably won't be able to support two. But one mandarin should be fine

Yeah thanks for the help I think I have found a plan. I will try kole and yellow and possibly try one mandarin and get a hob refugiuim for him. Thanks for the help I think this will work. If I do get a mandarin how do I keep him in qt? And what if I find one that's already eating do I still need the refugium? Thanks for the help will notify if anything changes thanks again.

Oh and about the eel he has escaped once already but I saved him I think the fish will be ok he is a pick eater. And already a pretty decent size thanks for the warning. I was worried about that too but he could swallow them now but he doesn't. I also feed him a lot usually till he is full to make sure he doesn't eat anything.

Ok, but that Mandarin could get eaten as well. Eels don't see very well and it only takes one stab in the dark to do a whole lot of damage. (if not worse) It's not so much what kind of a fish can I add to the tank as it is what kind of a fish won't become a meal IMO. Good luck!

Thanks I am just hopping he doesn't eat any fish supposing he can eat most of them. Yeah I heard about how they cannot see well I do from a stick and I think he knows that's where the food comes. As I mentioned before he used to be really picky and hard to feed only ate certain cuts of squid but now he ayes shrimp too. Thanks again hopefully this all goes well.

If not a reef tank, look at the pearl scale butterfly. It's stunning.

good luck having a eel with smaller fish.... eventually they will be dinner. the mandarin will die in your tank due to not having enough pods.... even if you do get a HOB fuge until you can see pods on the glass it will probably starve to death. they eat thousands of pods a day.

Yeah a lot of the butterfly's look amazing unfuturnetly I plan on adding corals so a lot of them are off my list I like them so much but so many are not safe. Well the tank is 15 years established and the eel is already big and takes no interest in the fish in fact today I saw my foxface swim right up to the eel and the ell came out and they just swam with each other for awhile. But i do see it possibly becoming a issue. He could eat them now but dose not even take interest in them so they might be ok and he is already a decent size. I have seen

Tiny things in my tank which I believe are some small crustaceans not sure which kind. If I did get a mandarin I would put some in at first to breed and wait. I would also keep adding pods durring feeding for him to snack on plus the ones in the fuge breeding. Oh the foxface and eel did not swim really just rest next to each other. Thanks for the help and warning will still do more research. Thanks
