Auto Feed Cycle with eheim
I plan to be away for a week or two and wanted to know how to handle this. The eheim feeder has a clock and I wanted to schedule the feeding times with my neptune. Any tips on how to do this?
I'd like to kick off cycle A and have my eheim feeder feed a few minutes into it. |

Do some searches over on Neptune Systems Community. I remember reading the same request from someone else over there, with some suggested code snippets to make it all work. (I didn't pay it as much attention as other threads, as I have an AFS.)
Have fun on that vacation! (Hopefully it is!)

I just setup my ehiem feeder so the food goes into a feeder ring. this way it sinks and doesn't go into the overflow. seems like a safer way. I don't like the idea of changing your apex coding and not being home to monitor new changes. JM2cents
good luck

FlyPenFly...this is a pretty common question and clearly an important one. I tried to give some detail on the strategy that I employ and it works well. Please follow the link to this thread on RC where I and others provided some guidance. It is a short thread...
