Pacific red octopus
Here is a video of the new octopus in the house. It's in a 28 gallon cube tank for now with plenty of crabs to eat and some blue and orange japanese bat stars, and a colony of strawberry anemones. I have a couple videos to post. The first is of him flashing color and patterns with a tour of the tank. And the next shows him changing patterns as a rockfish swims too close.

Yep I got him from coldwater marine aquatics. But I rregretfully have to say that he died. I was noticing he hadn't eaten in a bit and went to feed him directly. And when I did the rockfish started attacking him. I fed them immediately and they were fine after that but the octo never was the same and went downhill quickly. I believe it was stressed by the rockfish just being in there and when they attacked it was the final straw. I'm looking to put another octo in the tank soon. At least I hope so. And this time the rockfish stay out.

Bummer! You can send the rockfish to me. Kermit can take 'em.
