Jay where'd you get to see the Snowy? great sighting.

I have some cool images of birds of prey but nothing recent. Too dang busy, which is a shame since bald eagles are just a short drive away.

I got on Ebird and found a cluster of sightings about 20 minutes north of me (central WI) but the most recent was ten days ago. I spent an afternoon in the area figuring I'd settle for a hawk. Never saw one hawk lol. I'd all but given up and was way off my planned route when I spotted this owl. Little disappointed with the perch, but it is what it is.

yup falconry birds.

we have a bunch of snowy's out here is western MN again this year. Had a pure white one (male) roll my falcon on kill. It was scary but both the falcon and snowy were fine. They are incredibly well adapted birds.

I really love the snowy owl but Jesse's bald eagle blew what's left of my mind. Well done sir! You win.

Bald Eagle from this weekend

Spotted this guy while driving a country road this weekend. He was feasting on a pile of waste from a recent hog slaughter at a local farm.

I shouldn't have to remind YOU Nina, but let the gas out through the rectum or suffer brain farts and crappy ideas!

Awesome!

Wouldn't have counted for this contest - but my son and I were coming home from hockey practice and caught this hooter our driveway (this was last year). To get an idea on its size - that's a possum under its claws.

that's either a very large owl or a very small possum! cool to see that. the only "dead" possums i see are the ones my dane boy brings me. strange, after he drops them and walks away, they seem to come back to life. LOL
