Sinularia Issues
Hi Team
I'm building a Leather and Zoa tank currently but I've hit a snag I've been buying some different coloured Sinularia and on the weekend I picked up blueberry coloured and purplish ones Instead of cutting them off the rocks I just pulled them off and attached them to the rocks in my tank However over the next couple of days the Stems appear to be crumbing and flaking away One has no stem left and is just the head of the coral. The head seems fine and is still expanding and polyps are still coming out. Has anyone had experience with this and do you think they will recover? Thanks |

It probably would have been best to cut them with a razor but , if the head is still acting healthy they may survive . Next time cut them with a razor because it will be far less traumatic for the coral . I hope they survive !
