Hypo question for QT

I of course made the mistake of being lazy and not QTing my last fish... Now I have ich . I've read over the different treatments and I am going with hypo. I don't have the room for TTM/to many fish and I have fish that don't do well in copper. Here is my question, while doing hypo do you do water changes and just match the salinity like you would in your display? or do you just use an ammonia buffer. Also does anyone have the sticky for hypo? I read it and now I can't find it

For water changes just match the hypo level of display which should be 1.009 and stay constant at this level the entire time.
