Thumbs up

I really dont see how that overflow will work. Having the slot for water to overflow into being on the bottom, wont that suck in the sand from the bottom also?? Can I see more pics of the overflow set up?? It looks interesting the way you set it up. Nice build so far

Would you mind taking more pictures of the overflow. Is the hole in the little box the return?

If so, where is the water draining to?

Hi,

Itīs too soon to talk about performance, but the bk cleaned my water in a couple of hours. Before I bought him, I did a lot of research and I think bk 180 is one of the best option for me

Guys,

Here is the draft as I promisse, very simple

The water falls in the red hole, and them go to inside the little box, thatīs it

Imagine that you are looking below the main display. Hope it works

I know that Denandai draws very well!
But I think these pictures can help a bit ...

This is a complete system, with overflow, and a second emergency overflow. We can even make a return by this system.

Like this:

oh haha what were your other options besides the BK? I have a tank like yours and possible look into an upgrade for my skimmer. I have a decent deal on a 2nd hand BK Mini 200. But the thought of getting the spares if my skimmer breaks down troubles me. lol

What model is the Eheim pump? I am thinking of going with the Eheim 1250 so that the pump does not transfer too much heat into the water.

Looking well so far. Cant wait to see what you do with this tank.

I was thinking in Alpha 170, Reef Octopus Cone 2000, the new Deltec APF 800 and Bk 180

The alpha 170 I saw some guys with microbubbles problems, octopus I saw some broken impellers and pumps, and the Deltec I already had one in my last tank.

I want to try something different, so the oscar goes to bk 180

very unique overflow design.. Haven't seen those before and i guess it must be custom made.. Always learning something new..

Seems like you really thought this out before starting this tank.. Patience is a virtue. =)
