Thanks, actually got the colony from a local reefer when he broke down his tank a couple of years ago. His was part of the original colony I believe.

Where did you guys place your Efflo at ? High light high flow ?

Yes, def clear that 1st pic was not clear ,try putting it lower in your tank give it 1 month and as it colors up bring it up higher and higher till your happy with it;s color.

Leo, that shot was before I tore the tank apart. I believe it was back in early '08. I still have the piece, its just such a slow grower (in my tank) and I never really placed it back in a proper spot.

Hey, got my frag of the tyree le rouge rainbow and steves unknown prostrata.. I helped out a couple of people to so that this piece will be available in the future from at least 4 reefers in NY... My piece was browned out when I got it.. I'll post a thread on the time it takes to color up under my water conditions and lighting.. FWIW I hope this gesture is appreciated,,lol..

So far my Rouge milli has held its color since i got it at RAP. It has started to encrust nicely on my rock.

My Rouge has probably grown a millimeter since i got it. lol! It encrusted pretty good, but there's hardly any vertical growth.
I got a frag of the $500 efflo about 4 months ago and its growing nicely. It seems to color up more as it grows.
