Resun ts-600 titanium aquarium heater, heater stops but power stays on?

the product:http://www.resun-china.com/En/Produc...7&ProClass=139

So i set one of these up a few hours ago, and for a few hours it stayed on 26 celsius, then the heater light turns off, and the power is still on the dial. I returned another copy of this product back to the store a week ago, and i had to turn the dial hotter and hotter in order for the heater to stay lighted. Is this some form of auto heating? Also the green light wont come on a week later. Anyone know about this product?
