Which brand aquarium heater?

What brand heater do you guys use. LIke everything else there are a bunch of options. I have used Jalli titanium in the past with not much luck. They only lasted a couple of months. Also, where is the best (cheapest)place to buy them?

I love marine lands visi-terms on smaller size tanks. I run 2x 100w on my 58 with 30g sump

I found out the hard way with heaters. It wasn't until I read an article that didn't overstate enough the importance of not fully submersing a fully submersible heater. I've been through 3 Hydors, 2 Stealth, and 2 Jalli (yuck) titanium. They all eventually leaked...just like the article said they would. I'm on a set of 3 Jagers right now with the heads out of the water. Haven't had any issues yet.

Also, it's best to have some sort of external controller to the heater to prevent run away should the heater stick on.

Here's the article:

Aquarium Heaters

I use Visitherm Stealths and Ebo Jagers with no issues. I also leave the top part with the dial above the water line.
