Switching To AF...Questions
Hi All,
Thinking of switching my whole regimen to AF due to the outstanding reviews and have some questions. Please see the tank info in my signature. Hoping to switch out as much as possible for AF products, i.e. salt, carbon, phosphate minus, additives, etc. -In a tank my size and largely LPS dominated, does it make any sense to go with the probiotic salt? Was thinking of going with the standard reef salt and adding Pro Bio S and NP Pro...Or should I go with Pro Bio F? The AF website says it's for smaller aquariums. -Which from the Supplements section of the AF site would you recommend I use? Looking for maximum growth at the moment. I'm currently using Seachem Reef Plus and Trace. -Is it okay to keep my bag of NP XL biopellets in my sump once the change over has taken place or should I ditch those? Thanks,

Forgot to ask...For the probiotics additives, do you continue to add these even after the desired levels are reached? Or would you stop and wait until they creep up a bit again? Thx.

Hello,
Pro Bio S and - NP pro are enough for start. I guess that you don't have to have ULNS system because this is LPS tank. For LPS corals you can use: AF Phyto Mix, AF Amino Mix, AF Build, AF Energy, AF Vitality, Iodum Yes, you can use pellets but then you don't have to use -NP Pro. |

Correct, it is not ULNS. Thanks for the advice, looking forward to making the switch!
