Leaving it that way I plan on buying a colony or two so I don't want to make the main structure too big plus I want the fish out swimming not hiding in the rock

I wouldn't keep it in front of the window. Too much external light may heat up the tank or create algae issues.

The back wall of the tank is painted and insulated and its in a basement

Which sealer (caulking) did you go with and where did you get it? I'm about to start building my sump as well. Nice job on yours!

Just clear silicone in calking tubes but don't get the mold resistant kind

I'm still waiting on the rkl3 and I may have found a new cpr cs102 deluxe for 120 things are a little slow right now my sons birthday is coming up soon so that comes first as soon as the rkl comes in I will post some more of that installation

Well I received the reefkeeper plus today nearly had a heart attack when I picked it up Canada post crush the box once I got home and set up everything seems to work fine

So I have done a little research on additives and salts I think I have made an educated division I'm going to use the aquaforest reef salt method

Well I pulled the trigger on the aquaforest reef salt and bio s unfortunately it won't see it till mid to late April apparently this stuff is very popular
