Thanks! I ordered it from http://www.gulfliverock.com/ gulf live rock, I thought they had really good prices, and though there was a cycle, I think a lot of life survived in and on the rocks Thanks again tho

BTW everyone my clowns are eating and very happy lately, my current qualm with the tank is that my sea hare since having eaten all the hair algae, is now moving on to eating the plants that I like! they then start to grow back and he eats them to the nub again lol. I feed him half a dried algae sheet on wed, and again on sunday. Thinking about taking him back to the store, but I really like the little guy. Ill post some pictures soon, I cahnged the rocks around. Also my frogspawn has not been as "open" as I think he should be, Ive been moving him around every so often.

So update everything is doing really great Ill get some pictures up soon, I just wanted to tell everyone I just got back from picking up a new tank, 29g deep already pre drilled, was a buddy's old tank so he already has all the kinks worked out, got the stand too, as well as a few frags ugh haha. So my 20 deep will become my sump and the 29g will obv be the DT, I am super psyched for the move, and I think I have my plan set in place.

1. Ill be filling a third 10g tank with water from the DT now, putting all the LR and corals and such in it for the interm,

2.then filling a 5 gallon bucket for the fish,

3. Two things with the remaining 5 gallons, clean the sand really good (prob 2g) then with 3g left put that in the new DT

4. Now I will make 10 more gallons of warm SW from fresh RO, and put that in the DT too

5. Now Ill put the LR in first (some corals are on the rocks) and aquas cape a little then the sand

6. I will prob let the water calm down a bit and then add the 5g with the fish.

7. I will wait a little while after that to add the rest of the corals

8. Ill put the 10 g that the corals and live rock were in into the DT

9. Then once the DT is up and running without the sump (overflow off and such for a little while) I will install the baffles into the sump (old DT) and get the piping all squared away

10. Then once I start the system up Ill add water to the sump (prob about 10 g in all) and pump it slowely up into the DT and adjust the flow of the pump until I have it just right, then add more water into the sump.

This whole process is about 1-3 weeks away depending on how fast I get the baffles ready to install and the stand needs a little work (it had some water damage on the top and i am going to repaint it. So Ill get some pictures of how everything looks now, and once I clean the new tank and stuff Ill get some pictures of that up. super excited. As always I am really interested in hearing what everyone has to say, this is my first time doing this and I plan on doing a ton of research, but if anyone has any input on my specific plan / setup It would be really valuable to me. Also want to thank Justin Bolton for his generosity and hooking me up with the new tank... that guy really knows what hes doing and his setup is Bomb diggity lol

Oh btw my friend loaned me a water distiller, it takes about 4 hours to make one gallon but ive been just working it and filling buckets, I had the water tested and its pure so I am really happy for that its going to save me tons of money in gas going to get RO water.

Ok so here is a few pictures of the new tank (dont mind the reflection haha) I just cleaned out the whole thing and now all I need to do is some work on the stand, I am going to replace the top flat surface with that red plywood behind it and make a screen for the top of the tank, then repaint the whole thing (inside is white) outside black and work out the plumbing situation, and were ready to go!

Ok and here is my 20g to this date lol I know its getting a bit crowded hence the upgrade, I really didnt plan on putting anymore in there but I got an irresistible deal from my buddy who sold me the tank lol so here they are. (btw I gave mr. frogspawn to that same guy, because he wasnt doing so hot in my tank and I moved him all over the place and tried everything, and everything else seems to be doing great)
here is the SPS, I think I told you guys he was being bleached a while back, but as you can see hes quite happy now

I tried building a 10 gal 2 years ago in college and it went well, but I had to move later, so i took it down. I have been adding up items for a SW tank and now have enough to build it
So your thread is one of the ones i have been following
