Advice needed

I just set up a river tank setup with brackish fish in mind.
When I glued it in place I used GE2 .I now realize I made a huge mistake that this stuff might have mold inhibitor in it.It does not say anything on the label.I am in the process of taking it apart and redoing it.The only thing I am is afraid of is how to make sure I get it all out.Is there anything special to remove besides a razor blade. Is there a chemical neutralizer to help remove any left over traces etc.
