Ev'e if you ever frag your space invader, I would like a piece...

If you need any help with the skinning of your stand, let me know.... I just got all of my good wood working equipment from my place in Phoenix and brought it here....

Nice!

The pectinia I have isn't a space invader. It's just a regular green pectinia. I'll post a pic.

it is. Unfortunately I had to send it back because the euro bracing was not recessed. I should have it back in a couple weeks. Excellent customer service.

Wow, is powder coating that cheap? I thought the size of Ev'e stand would cost $150. I have a metal stand 6x2x3 that I bought some paint for and was going to spray paint cause I thought powder coating it would cost to much.
Ev'e, do you mind pm'ing how much the place charged you? If its not that much, I'll return the paint and get my stand powder coated instead.

Yes, it can be that cheap. It's even cheaper then painting when you factor in materials and labor to paint it yourself.

Got a text from CD saying that my tank will be ready on wednesday! Hopefully AA will be done with my sump soon as well. So lets talk equipment. I ordered a Vectra M1 for my return pump so that's taken care of. My question is what I should do for flow. Would it be better to go with 4 MP 40's or 2 MP 60's?

Well, got the tank back today! Also picked up a M1 Vectra for the return. I'm hoping to get the tank up on the stand this weekend.

Got the tank up on the stand!

This tank is awesome and well built! Each of the corners has a thick tapered plastic strip for added support. I'm really happy with this purchase.

Do 2-mp40s and 2-6095.
I wouldn't do mp60s on a tank that size. Even on my 8' tank, I don't run my 60s past 50%.

I don't like wires in the DT but I'll consider the 6095's. I was starting to think of running 1 MP60 and 2 MP40's on the overflow side. I guess the reason why I'm considering the MP60 is because it can move water more efficiently on the battery back up if the power ever goes out.
