Tunze 6105 power supply blinking

Hi Roger, I have a Tunze 6105, that the red light on the transformer started blinking. The propeller in the pump spins in 1 second intervals along with the blinking. I believe is the transformer, however I figured I would ask. If I need to buy a new one. Could you send a link? also I did give it a good cleaning. Thanks, Dennis Kucan

This will typically indicate an overload from the pump. The first step is to disassemble the pump and clean it thoroughly. If this is a pre 2012 model with removable shaft, the drive unit spins on the shaft and they should not be fused together. If this is a post 2012 model the shaft should remain firmly in the motor when the drive unit is removed.

I cleaned the unit again, its like a shiny new penny. Lol. It is post 2012, as the shaft remains solid in the motor. I even went as far as a tiny piece of scotch brite to clean the shaft. Now I have a shiny clean pump that still pulses along with the pulsing red light on the transformer. So could you please tell me how to get a new transformer? It is model 09257H. Thanks Much, Dennis Kucan

Dennis,

I wouldn't know the power supply by that number but I suspect it is our part number 6105.240. On the power supply should be an additional Tunze Order Number. Premium Aquatics stocks these and you can also order it on Tunze.com.
