1073.06 info
Is this a new model. Cannot find any info, data looks similar to sicce 5.0. Have the .04 and its awesome but stepping up to a 100 gal and want to stay in tunze family, any suggestions?

They have been available for about 2 years. It is basically a bigger 1073.040, it uses 1" outlet and inlet and has a few hundred more gph of flow. I think on a 100 if head pressure was 4ft or so the 1073.040 would be enough, I usually keep flow throw a sump to about 3-4 time turnover as it tends to minimize bubbles which will affect an ATO and the skimmer can more thoroughly process the water, it also prevents debris in the filter socks from being pounded into tea. Not much reason to have a really strong return pump with modern prop pumps providing plenty of flow. I would probably only upgrade to t off to feed reactors or if head pressure is high.
