Vivid’s Rainbow Delight Lighting?

I’ve had a frag for a few months down low under 4 400 watt Ushio 14K and it hasn’t grown or colored up at all. Think it needs more light?

Blast it and wait another 6 to 10 months and don't look at it wrong. I'll text you a picture of mine brother.

I'm not saying let's get rid of all the stupid people.* I'm just saying let's remove all the warning labels and let the problem work itself out.

I have mine about 8" under water (lights are 10" above water) 8 bulb ATI powermodule, so quite high par (400+ I'd estimate).

It is a bit finicky (understatement) but as it becomes a big colony it gets way more tolerant in my experience, mine is about 8" in diameter now. Still, if you want it to retain the rainbow look, you better have rock solid parameters for at least 4-6 months at a time.

Pife is right!
