Shimming Acrylic Sump?
Hey there! I am in the middle of adding a new sump that measures 16W X 36L X 16H and my floors are a uneven so I had to shim my 125g, I plan on putting sump to the left of it on the floor but my hard wood floors are thick tongue and groove boards with beveled edges and nailed through the top at each end with 3" spikes that have a dome top that sticks up a bit. I assume that will cause a bunch of stress points so I was thinking maybe a sheet of plywood under it before I shim?

I went to Lowe's and was able to find pre cut 1x16x36 real wood boards for 7$ each, so I bought 2 of them and screwed the together in a bunch of places, its almost perfectly flat except in one corner I can slide a couple pieces of paper stacked on each other in about 6" between sump and wood, should I put a something in between to fill the gap a bit?
