Cleaner shrimp babies in my Fuge?

I lay on the floor in my hallway and like to watch my Fuge because of the thousands of little bugs and worms that are always running around.

I just recently saw what looked to be little tiny clear shrimp. I have a pair of Cleaners and heard that they breed almost monthly.

I read up a little and turns out they almost always get eaten by the fish in the tank. So now i'm wondering if theses are actually the cleaner shrimp offspring due to the fact that there are so many.

They are about the same size as a (medium) amphipod in length but skinnier, the pretty much have all the characteristics of a shrimp as far as the back end and leg placement.

They are also really fast, much faster than the pods, and sometime two of them will swim in circles almost chasing each other.

Is it possible that so many made it and are living in my fuge after a few days?

Cleaner shrimp do breed about every 6 weeks or so but as far as I know, none of them live more than a couple of days. They have been breeding for me for years and so far, none have grown up and gone to college.

I actually just read some more on a different site and turns out you might want to get your doctorate in biology before trying to raise them haha

They are fun to watch though...they move so fast

LoL! I'm not sure you could pay for that PHD selling cleaner shrimp...it would take a long, long time!

It should would be nice to see more tank bred livestock in the hobby though!
