Mandarin gobies addition question

mandarin Goby 120 gallon Reef
Looking at adding a Pair of this to my tank. With nothing else requiring the copepods. And add in a bottle of 5280 first month then another the 2nd month. Adding mandarins in the second month what kind of cycle should i expect on the mandarins eating and or requiring more 5280 in the coming months or will the be enough to multiply on their own at that point. Obviously ill be adding Mysis attempting the Wean off challenge; however, looking at worst case scenario they say screw you to frozen food :P

They eat constantly.

A pair in a 120 might be possible:

if the tank is mature
there is lots of liverock
you have a refugium for pods to reproduce. You will never be able to add enough pods on your own.

Hope that helps.

if i add some to the refugium do i need to manually draw them up and put them in main tank at night or will they make it back up into the tank on their own through the return?

They will make it there on their own. A shaking of the rock and/or chaeto every once and a while wouldn't hurt.

You're welcome.

Coral is a Lobophylia of mine. Pretty easy to care for LPS. Slow grower though.
