Hall effect flow sensors safe?

In the middle of plumbing in a flow sensor I just realized I am not sure what the shaft is made of.

Anyone ever have any issues using these?

All depends on the type/brand.. Knowing that might help us answer better..

In general the only safe/long lasting metal would be titanium.. Its unlikely to be that.. but possible.

More common would be stainless steel which will eventually corrode/rust but you should get a decent lifespan out of it depending on the quality of the material/alloy used..

Thanks
